What we do with your number.
The short version: we keep your WhatsApp number so we can tell you when MeKiosk opens. We do not sell it, we do not send marketing, and you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- Your WhatsApp number. Required — it is how we reach you.
- Your business name. Optional, and only used to reserve your link.
- Your email address. Optional.
- The country your request came from, which Cloudflare tells us, and your browser's user-agent string. These help us spot automated signups.
That is everything. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
One reason: to send you a message when your kiosk can go live. We ask for your number, you give it to us for that purpose, and that consent is the only basis on which we hold it.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share the waitlist with anyone, and we do not send it to advertisers or other businesses.
Two companies process it on our behalf because they run the infrastructure: Cloudflare, which hosts this site and stores the waitlist, and WhatsApp (Meta), when we message you. They act on our instructions and cannot use your details for their own purposes.
Where it is kept, and for how long
The waitlist lives in a Cloudflare database. We keep your details until MeKiosk launches and you have had the chance to open a kiosk, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If the product never launches, we delete the whole list.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, which means we stop contacting you and remove your details.
We will not charge you for any of this, and we will do it within a reasonable time of you asking.
Getting removed
Message us on WhatsApp, or email hello@mekiosk.shop, and say you want to be taken off the list. You do not need to give a reason.
Terms of service
There is no service yet — MeKiosk has not launched, and joining the waitlist does not create an account, guarantee you a kiosk, or commit you to anything. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. When the product opens we will publish full terms covering fees, payouts and your responsibilities as a seller, and we will tell you before they apply to you.
Changes to this page
If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page. If the change is significant and you are already on the waitlist, we will message you about it rather than quietly editing this page.
